Let's be honest, as much as the Holidays can be a magical time, when it comes to Blended Families, things can get a little complicated!

Sadly, due to things like to access schedules, missing kids on Christmas Morning, blending traditions, financial contraints and perceived competition between "Moms House" & "Dads House", Christmas can be a very stressful time for so many stepmoms and blended families!

But it doesn't have to be that way! Seriously it doesn't!

Like with everything in blended family and stepmom life, I am all about being PROACTIVE & PREPARED. It can make a HUGE difference!

I have good news!

On December 13 @8:00pm EST, I'm going to tell you exactly how being PROACTIVE & PREPARED can set you up for a "Very Merry Blended Family Christmas" - and I'm going to show you how to actually do it!

During this special holiday themed webinar, I'll be answering your Holiday Specific Questions & Sharing My Blended Family Holiday Tips.

All you have to do is get in your comfy clothes, pour yourself a glass of vino and come connect with a virtual room full of likeminded stepmoms! (vino is optional, but highly recommended)

And hey, with Christmas just over a week away, you'll probably be in need of some good quality girl time!! It's all about self-care right?

I've created an invitation using Evite, that provides all the details for the event. Click HERE to check it out. All you have to do is RSVP yes, and I'll send you the link for the webinar!

EVITE DONATIONS

You're probably wondering why I choose to use Evite® to create an invitation for this webinar

Let me explain...

When it comes to the extra stressors that come around the Holidays, I always to try to be mindful, grateful and keep things in perspective. While the hustle bustle and extra blended family complications can be stressful, these are very much "first world problems"

At the end of the day, we have so much to be grateful for. We are so lucky to live in a country where we feel safe, have our basic needs are met, and have access to health care when we need it. Sadly that's not the case for everyone.

Every year around the holidays I make a point to give back to those less fortunate - this year one of my Charity's of Choice is Doctors Without Borders.

Before embarking on this {step}motherhood gig, I spent time at a grassroots orphanage in Kenya, so naturally this charity resonates with me in a big way.

What I love about Evite® (in addition to how simple they make planning an event) is that there is an option to turn every invitation into an opportunity for guests to giveback.

As you will see on the Wine Wednesday Evite® invitation, I have attached an option to donate to Doctors Without Borders.

I've always loved the idea of asking for donations in lieu of hosting gifts, so I'm all about this option! Whenever you create an Evite® invitation for an upcoming event, all you have to do is add your favourite non-profit and encourage your guests to make a donation!

Evite® Donations has already raised over 4 million dollars! How amazing is that?

If you're in the position, I encourgae you to donate to this phenomenal non-profit. It's global impact is nothing short of phenomenal.

If you're having a Holiday Gathering this year, I encourage you to check out Evite® Make More Merry Initiative, and learn how you can make a difference, doing something you're already doing, which is celebrating this beautiful time of year!

Now head on over to the invite to RSVP and I'll see you on Wednesday December 13!
