Last week I had the privilege of attending the Launch Party for the new First Response Prenatal Multi-Vitamin Gummies!
It was such a beautiful event and well worth the drive down to Toronto.
In fact, you can check it out on my latest "Day in the Life" Vlog...
Not only did the event touch on secondary infertility, which is obviously an issue that is near and dear to my heart, it touched on so many other Conception Misconceptions that I had.
First, and most importantly, throughout our journey over the past few months, I've learned something pretty dang imperative to getting pregnant... when I am ovulating.
Like so many millennials I rely on my phone for pretty much everything... so much that I was letting an app tell me when I should be... ummm.... getting busy!
Well it turns out, the iPhone doesn't know everything because it was dead wrong. After months and months of trying at the wrong time, the Ovulation Tests taught me when I was ACTUALLY most fertile, which is kind of important!
The event also reminded me how important it is for me to be taking prenatal vitamins, even thought I am not pregnant. I'm not going to lie, even though I knew I should be taking them, prenatal vitamins have always made me so sick that from time to time, I would let it "slip my mind".
At the launch party we were given some Prenatal Multi-Vitamin Gummies to try, and guys, they are pretty tasty. In fact, I kind of wish that I could take more than two a day!
Anyways, without going on and on, the event was such an invaluable experience. Not only did it make me feel less alone in our journey, I learned so much! And now I actually look forward to taking my Prenatal Vitamins. Who knew prenatals don't have to be hard to swallow horse pills that feel like rocks in your stomach!
