This is a one-of-a-kind, no bull-shit, solution focused Program for Stepmoms who want to THRIVE (not just survive) this crazy beautiful blended family life!

I'm not a Psychologist or a Social Worker. I'm a Stepmom who once upon a time found herself crying on the bathroom floor with a glass of wine wondering what the heck I was thinking when I decided to marry a single dad with three kids!

I was in need of some major support. But I couldn't find it. So I decided to create it!

Over the past few years I've dug my head deep into all the stepfamily resources I can find.

As a Life Coach with A Specialization In Stepfamily Dynamics, I've combined all the information I've been taught with my
experiences as both a stepmom and a child of divorce, and created a program with all the strategies I used to get myself up off that bathroom
floor and start to THRIVE amongst the chaos of Stepfamily Life!

Traditionally, The KICK-ASS Stepmom Project is run via live group webinars and scheduled content. However, different time zones
and crazy schedules some makes make it difficult for everyone to attend.

That's why, I've created an independent study version for stepmoms who are still craving the support, but aren't able to participate LIVE.

Same great information, but in a more flexible and affordable format!

The Kick-Ass Stepmom Project is like having your own personal tribe of women that just GET YOU. It helped me tremendously to identify and separate my concerns about my blended family into categories of things I can control, things I cannot, things that truly matter, and things that just don’t. I silenced a lot of worries in my head, and find myself saying “Eh, that’s life!”, a lot more these days. Jamie helps us all to look at our situations from a birds eye point of view, and helps us to direct our feelings in a positive direction. I also really loved the fact that she encouraged specific discussions between husbands and wives; it is imperative in stepfamily life that the marriage in the home is on the same page. I fell more in love with my husband, my stepdaughter, and gained a great group of new friendships along the way!

I highly recommend y’all get involved with the next KICK-ASS Stepmom Project... Since we wrapped up the inaugural project back in June, I’ve been in SUCH a better place with myself, my boyfriend, my stepson and even HIS MOM! Never would I have thought prior to the sessions that I would be able to think this clearly about our blended family situation. I frequently catch myself thinking in my head, “what would Jamie tell me to do in this situation?!?”... Definitely worth the investment

The positive vibes during all the sessions, and no bitching & complaining was just amazing. The KICK-ASS Stepmom Project is focused on taking control of your stepmom life and provides you with the tools to do so.

I walked away from the Project feeling more confident and in control of my feelings

I joined the project during a time when I felt like I was drowning in my new role as a step-mom. It was so encouraging to hear from other women like me and realize that I was not alone and it WOULD get better! Jamie did a great job of navigating each individual situation and providing healthy, practical ideas about how to move forward.

This project was such a great experience! I’m so happy I found this wonderful community of women who are going through the same things as me. I sometimes feel I need a handbook on life and a handbook on being a stepmom...and now I have one. We don’t have to be alone or feel like we have no one to turn to for support. Here is the support we need! Jamie is very understanding and is always easy to get ahold of. Love this group so much and I can’t wait for the next Wine Wednesday

The Stepmom Project was just what I needed during a very trying time in our family. It was a great way to really focus on myself and not on others around me that I can’t control. It helped me revognize the importance of taking care of myself in this very important role of step-mom. I have a tendancy to see the dark side of every cloud, but with Jamie’s strategies I was able to start focusing on things I can’t change and my reaction to them. This allowed me to begin seeing the silver lining in our blended family life. It’s a work in progress but with time and Jamie’s useful advice I hope we start functioning as the positive blended family we once were.

This course has helped immensely!! I can’t say enough about the course and how it helped me learn just how great it feels to live a way more KICK-ASS lifestyle than how I currently was. There has been a big family shift in our household. Identifying our stressors was the key is seeing our family as a whole and what we can change
— Jessica | Stratford, ON
This group definitely makes you realize that although the world can be big and lonely, you’re really not alone... having the ability to reach out to someone WHO GETS IT is what I needed more than anything…But you have to be open to change and doing things you probably don’t naturally want to do... Jamie provides a great resource to be able to go back and reference when you’re starting to feel like you’re losing your mind again and doesn’t leave you hanging. She’s very available, approachable and relatable. I’d do it again if she’d let me! Never hurts to be put back in line again

Stumbling upon the Poptart Diaries, for me, has been the discovery of a lifetime! It’s funny how things tend to fall in your lap at times they are needed. I came across The Poptart Diaries one day while on Facebook, a friend had shared one of Jamie’s posts. THANK YOU FRIEND! I have enjoyed reading the pieces on parenting and more specifically step parenting. It’s always a relief to find out you are not alone in what ever circumstance you find yourself in. I reached out to Jamie personally and received some great feedback. She demonstrates candour yet compassion for your situation. I thank you for your openness and for even following up with me to see how things were going
